Q: Is AiMT a trance blog? I mean, after all, you guys use the word "trance" in your name.

A: No. We are not a trance blog. (We do, however, think trance is sort of funny.)

Q: What are you then?

A: We do rap, dance-pop and other (non-trance-leaning) forms of dance music.

Q: Where are you based out of?

A: Fayetteville, Arkansas, and don't you dare snicker. We will END YOU. YOU WILL GET GOT. Seriously though, our region isn't exactly our target audience. We're aware of this. But don't get it twisted—we still have much A-State .

Q: How do I submit music?

A: Our SoundCloud DropBox is our primary (and preferred) method of receiving submissions. We like hearing from the artists, DJs, and labels directly. We find middlemen (vanity publicists and promoters)* to be troublesome. The DropBox is a way of weeding out those middlemen, and that's why we like it. Using it is pretty self-explanatory, so give it a shot:
Send your track to AiMT Some additional pointers on submitting:

We also accept submissions via e-mail, but we consider these submissions secondary. We're very enthusiastic about having a busy inbox, and we'll gladly accept any on-topic submissions you may have for us (keywords: on-topic). If you submit off-topic content, it will be disregarded. That much goes for the DropBox, too.

Q: How do I apply for a job at AiMT?

A: You don't. We usually spend more money than we make just to stay afloat, so we currently have no opportunities of the sort. Go bug Stereogum.

Q: Hey, take down my track!

A: We will gladly take down songs upon request. Drop us a line, and we'll do so promptly and accordingly.

Also, please do not go harassing our hosting companies about taking down our accounts. That sort of Lars Ulrich bullshit is supremely annoying and completely unnecessary because we're actually quite good about taking down content by request. AiMT exists to both inform and promote. Artists and labels are usually very gracious to have tracks featured on our site. But if you want content taken down for whatever reason, please come to us directly.

Q: Are you looking for writers?

A: That's tricky. AiMT is currently a one-person venture, and we've never involved other writers. But if you're interested, feel free to touch base.

Q: Wait a minute. AiMT is a one-person venture, and you keep referring to yourself as "we." Are you mental?

A: Yes. Extravagantly.

Q:

A: Bow ties!!!
