Etienne de Crécy – "Am I Wrong (2007 Live Rework)"



Etienne began putting his stamp on the Parisian music scene in the mid '90s. It was around the same time that Air, Daft Punk and Cassius all made it into the international pop spotlight. While Etienne remained revered among critics and dance music circles, his hometown brethren enjoyed world tours and major label success.

He may not have become a household hame, but his impact on the city's musical identity was crucial. The electro-house currently associated with Ed Banger and Daft Punk was largely shaped by Etienne's early output.

Live on Neptune is a six-track live EP recorded in Versailles back in June. All the tracks were reworked pretty significantly from their original versions. "Am I Wrong" was originally released as a single in 2000–here's its live version from the EP:
