Robyn to Get U.S. Distribution, Release New Single

Perez reports that Interscope has picked up Robyn's new self-titled album for a U.S. release. Robyn was originally released in 2005 in Sweden on her own Konichiwa Records but has more recently found U.K. distribution through Island. Her single "With Every Heartbeat" topped the U.K. singles chart once last month, but you already knew that, didn't you? Of course you did.

I find it funny that a 2005 album is likely to get a 2008 re-release and still be regarded as a new album. But it's cool. I ain't mad at her.
