Heidrun – "Love Don't Come Easy"

Icelandic singer Heidrun Björndottir (bka just Heidrun) could very well be the next link in the Robyn/Annie/Róisín/Bertine/Yelle dance-pop chain. We've had our eye on this broad for a minute. She was a member of the now-defunct Gloss and has worked with Gus Gus and Pleasure. Lately she's kept busy fronting Cicada.

It doesn't look like Heidrun has any pending solo contracts at the moment, so she may not drop and album or single anytime soon. But in the meantime you can buy Cicada's debut full length from iTunes.
