Princess – "Pretty Rave Girl"

It's official: Southern rap has saved trance music.

This is among the many things about the present I could not have predicted five years ago. Perhaps in 2009, Paul van Dyk will tour with Rich Boy. And for some reason I'm not sour about that at all. The stars have aligned, and it seems meant to be.

"Pretty Rave Girl" is a testament to such whodathunkitness. It samples I Am X-Ray's track of the same name.
