The disco revival had worked up a serious momentum and probably peaked in early '07 with Environ, Gomma, Eskimo, Italians Do It Better and DFA leading the way. But even though its traction is wearing, let's not throw in disco's towel just yet. As long as folks like Lindstrøm keep doing their thing, I'll keep coming back.

Speaking of Lindstrøm, the 36-year-old producer will release the disco-pop Real Life Is No Cool, a collaborative album with vocalist and fellow Norwegian Christabelle, sometime in early '10 on his own Feedelity label. The pair released their first single back in '03. It was Feedelity's first catalog release. Here's a cut from the album:
