Clone Records Not Shutting Down After All?
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 06:35PM (via Resident Advisor)

News broke back in January that legendary Dutch dance label Clone Records would no longer be releasing new music. I was pretty bummed about this—so much so that I dropped a lil' tribute mix to bid a proper farewell. Much to my embarrassment, Clone has not only gone back on that announcement, but they've announced the launch of six new sublabels to cater to their various niches.
The new sublabels we can look forward to are as follows: Clone West Coast (local Dutch stuff), Clone Aqualong (Drexciyan electro), Clone Club (anthemic club), Clone Basement (techno), Clone Jack for Daze (throwback house) and Clone Loft Supreme (disco-house), the latter of which I'm particularly excited about.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing more stuff from the Clone camp, especially since we all thought they were closing up shop. Read more over at Resident Advisor.
