Two Fingers [ft. Sway] - "Not Perfect"

Two Fingers & Sway

The April-released Two Fingers album, which is a collaboration between Amon Tobin and Doubleclick, is probably the best full length to emerge from the Big Dada camp since Spank Rock's 2006 debut, YoYoYoYoYo. After hearing it, I think we can safely crown these dudes the new Massive Attack. (And if the music alone isn't enough to seal the deal, compare the above press pic to the Mezzanine inlay.)

With big nods to grime and dubstep, Two Fingers is equally rooted in glossy pop-rap. I can't think of any other act that has achieved such a juxtaposition of clean and dirty all at once.

Konvict-signed UK rapper Sway is on seven of the album's 12 tracks. He's a perfect fit since he speaks to grime audiences but retains a certain pop elegance you won't find with the genre's other heavyweights like Dizzee or Tinchy.
