Bombay Brouhaha Party Sampler Mix

Bombay Brouhaha Party Sampler

Here's a teaser of what you'll be able to hear next Friday, February 5, at Bombay Brouhaha, an official AiMT Bollywood-themed dance party. This will be the second-ever AiMT party, and it will be an altogether different vibe than the first. I'll be throwing down vintage Bollywood (and Lollywood) disco, boogie, funk, etc. Rev. Stiles will cover newer bhangra, and our boy Vivek will tackle modern Bollywood. This particular 30-minute teaser is all disco:

03:01: Kishore Kumar & Lata Mangeshkar - "Disco '82" [from Khud-Daar, 1982]
06:20: Nazia Hassan - "Boom Boom" [from Boom Boom, 1982]

25:23: Salma Agha - "Sote Sote Aadhi Raat" [from Siskiyan, 1983]

Two key points to keep in mind about this party: 1) It's 18 and up, and 2) FREE ENTRY (unless you're under 21, then there's a $5 cover). It's going down at Speakeasy in Fayetteville and will kick off at 10 p.m. Keep an eye on the Facebook event page for soon-to-be-announce drink specials. Endless props to KXUA for giving this show formal sponsorship.
