Fayetteville expat/director Mike Anderson aims to direct a short film for Javelin

Mike Anderson, a Fayetteville director who relocated to Brooklyn last year, has started a Kickstarter campaign with Javelin to raise money for a Western-themed companion short film to the band's new 10-inch, Canyon Candy, out on Luaka Bop. From the looks of the promo (which starts at 1:40), we can expect more of Mike's trademark colorful greenscreen antics, only this time in fully fleshed-out short film form. This is exciting because Mike only has super short promo bits available for viewing over on his Vimeo page, so it will be nice to see something lengthier.
Javelin has $7,456 in pledges out of their goal of $9,500. And with 24 days left, it looks like they'll make it. Pledge here, and read more over at Altered Zones.
